Authentic Design Collection was born to inspire, furnish and support designers, architects, and
sophisticated retailers with distinctly refined lighting and furniture that originates with and connects to
the person who designed and produced it.
Based in NJ with offices in Chicago, we are a network of creative and original thinkers who pursue and
respect originality and are faithful to the manufacturers and artists we partner with.
This passion for design and quality carries through our entire organization. We work with a range of
European Companies which, in many cases began as humble family companies who are now second and
third generation and continue carrying the soul of the family with them. We partner with these
companies logistically, technically and with our expertise to ensure the products we bring to North
America are certified UL or ETL, are suitable for the market and are backed by Authentic Design
Collection to be produced in the original factories by the people who created them.
Leading the charge is industry veteran and Founder of Authentic Design Collection, Blair Hutkin, who
tirelessly brings his expertise, industry knowledge and relationships to make accessible our curated,
distinctive, authentically designed lighting and furniture for North America.
